Lambikin's Happenings Newsletter - Fall 2007

Closed September 1st - 6th
We have a major renovation/rearrangement planned for a few days before and after the Labor Day holiday. We will be closed Saturday through Thursday and reopen for normal business hours on Friday, September 7th. During the closure, we will be accepting and shipping online orders.

Fashion Show and Yarn Tasting - October 14th
We will be hosting a very special fall event on Sunday, October 14th from 1-4 PM. Come to the shop to sample the latest yarn arrivals to Lambikin’s Hideaway. Everyone will receive between 5-10 yards of selected new fall yarns. We will talk a little about each one and show some great patterns that would be perfect for each yarn. All yarn featured during the yarn tasting will be 10% off for that day only.

Also, we will be holding a fashion show where we invite you, our customers, to bring in your favorite finished project to show off. Please limit your items to 3 per person. For each item you bring, you will receive an entry into a drawing where 3 lucky people will get a $15 gift card to be used any time. Limit one gift card per person.

If you are interested in attending, tickets are $10 each and can be purchased up to the day of the event. We are looking forward to a great turnout and seeing all the great projects our customers have made!

Yarn Source Passion Featured in Romantic Hand Knits
We are very excited to announce that Annie Modesitt chose our very own Yarn Source Passion as the yarn for one of the designs in her latest book, Romantic Hand Knits: 26 Flirtatious Designs That Flatter Your Figure. Look for our yarn used to make the Now, Voyager skirt on page 68. To celebrate, Passion will be 10% off for the entire month of September. That brings the price down to $9.85 for 150 yards of 100% silk yarn.

We have just received a huge re-order of Passion, so all you favorite colors are back in stock. We also added one new color for the fall season.

It has a luxurious combination of fibers that gives you the resource to create one-of-a-kind socks. The second line is Wool Bam Boo. It’s combination of wool and bamboo produces a yarn with drape, softness and sheen.
